Executive Director, ARUNIM, the marketing arm of the National Trust for the Disabled has this to say about Udyogini training and change in knowledge, attitude and skills it brought about in NGO partners of the National Trust:

"NGO members who attended were a mix of heads of the organisation who started thinking and a churning started within.and members who were vocational staff or trainers who went back with the learnings of what they need to do better and what they need to discard. For example one NGO in Odisha learnt costing of their products and simple realisation that the need to account for their fuel consumption made sense to them. They also gave importance to packaging and few month back they sent us their new gift pack of chocolates packed beautifully with a new name! we were told that they sold 100% of what they made during Diwali locally and hence didn't participate in Delhi mela which we organised!

Our Shilpotsav at Delhi Haat had 33NGO's participating and of which 70% had attended Udyogini's training.Well, the sales crossed 15 lakh in just exhibition and fairs this year unlike last year's 7 lakh.In addition to fairs, we got an order to make promotional products for 15 lakh which was our first exercise in collaborative work undertaken by groups in regions.I am sure the training must have helped them to put together the whole business plan of how to go about it otherwise they would not have ventured to make 45,000 bags,200 jackets etc.

The members are taking their training seriously and slowly there seems to be an attitudinal change happening all over....I am glad, I chose Udyogini and you for mentoring support.
