Udyogini is working with urban slum dwellers in Saharanpur. Women are involved in two principal microenterprises, Chunari (traditionally embellished red cloth covering for offerings and idols used in places of worship and during religious/social ceremonies) and production of Agarbattis (incense sticks). Slum women are trained in technical and management aspects in chunari and agarbatti manufacturing.
