Udyogini encourages a strong entrepreneurship culture within the organization consistent with its mandate of creating entrepreneurs at the grassroots. Since we believe we should lead by example, managers are encouraged to be innovative and be driven by the spirit of autonomy to build themselves, their projects and the BDS centers that provide the support the projects need. Some of the BDS managers chose the states that they wanted to establish BDS centers in so that they now have a greater sense of ownership over those. Innovations such as the Udyogini School of Entrepreneurship (USE) also have persons who have been selected for their entrepreneurial motivation and orientation.
