The core management team consists of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Operating Officer (COO), and BDS Managers in each state. Major strategic and operational decisions for Udyogini as a whole are taken by this core team. The COO is overall in charge of operations, HR and Finance. The BDS managers head the BDS centers in their respective states. The BDS managers, who are professionals, enjoy considerable autonomy and are expected to lead initiatives and strengthen BDS centers by ensuring the implementation of state-level business plans and field-projects; fund-raising, especially from government sources; supervising the project managers; financial control and HR development. This team leads a staff of around 70 of which more than 80% are based in the states we work in.
